Wing Rubber Fender

The NANHAI Wing (GD) Fender is a new type of rubber fender developed from the D-type Fender. Because the mounting parts extending from both ends look like small wings, it has this name. Also called GD Fender.

NANHAI Wing (GD) Fenders are jacked into the angles during installation and joints between adjacent sections are “plugged” to achieve a smooth and continuous contact face.  Once fitted, the “wings” of the Wing Fender sit tightly within the angles making this arrangement very resistant to longitudinal and transverse shear.

NANHAI Wing (GD) Fender is usually used for tugs and workboats.  Instead of drilling the fender, the wings of wing fender are retained by steel angles.
